Psalms 32:7 (NIV): "You are my hiding place; You will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance." The Hideaway EP is a all about setting a worshipful atmosphere to enter into the presence of God with. From the opening track "Living for You" starting with praises God for who He is and declaring a life being lived for Him, it sets the tone for what this record is truly about. Alongside intimate worship are songs of hope and encouragement to the Church in the life that they live. "Trust in the Lord" quotes Psalm 62:8 encouraging those who may be in times of trouble to take refuge in God while trusting that He has us in His hands. For moments of straying away from the path God has placed in front of us, "Love Remains" gives a reminder that God's love never changes and that despite the faults we make His love remains. The track "Closer" comes back to the vision of the EP as a whole, getting close with God in a personal and intimate way. "The lyrics of Closer's bridge (I want to be where you are, so let me dwell in Your arms) serve as my life prayer" says band visionary Isaac Mann. Returning to the pure joy of God's relationship with His Bride, "You're My Everything" shows the journey of where God found us and how He can and should be our everything. Musically, this EP ranges from jazz and acoustic fusions to contemporary worship and even a taste of soulful rap in the EP's title track. Overall, this EP is about becoming intimate with God in His hiding place.
